Joya De Nicaragua RED
Many of Joya de Nicaragua’s handmades rely on potent ligeros to deliver their feisty bouquet. Long-fillers from the uber-fertile regions of Esteli, Condega, and Jalapa, were stuffed into a golden hued Nicaraguan Habano wrapper. Diesel Whiskey Row Sherry Cask
The blend consists of a dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper and Nicaraguan fillers, but the barrel-aged Brazilian Arapiraca binder is the star of the show. The barrel aging produces a strong oaky flavor and hints of bourbon in the aroma. You’ll also notice some floral notes, spice and some sweetness in a medium-bodied format. The earthy, chocolate notes of this cigar frame a hearty core of wood and cedar, all combining for a finish of bread and brown sugar.
Alec Bradley Kintsugi
The ancient Japanese art of taking pottery that is broken, or fractured, and using gold or silver to repair it and in turn make it better than the original piece. This technique is also the inspiration behind Alec Bradley Cigar Company’s newest line. Created at the Raices Cubanas factory in Danlí, Honduras, Alec & Bradley Kintsugi uses a Trojes region, Honduran habano wrapper over a combination of Nicaraguan and Honduran leaves that make up the dual binder and filler. The resulting profile is a medium-bodied experience filled with notes of earth, wood, chocolate, nuts, and pepper that delight the senses and delight the palate from start to finish.
Alec Bradley Tempus
Tempus is truly boutique, right down to the tobaccos used. The Habano-seed wrapper hails from a small tobacco field located on the border of Nicaragua and Honduras, capturing the rich, hearty flavors of Honduras. This leaf is dark and leathery, and conceals a complex mixture of Cuban-seed long-fillers grown in both Nicaragua and Honduras. The cigar explodes with rich, but smooth flavors noting toasted wood and nuts. The finish is long and peppery with an enjoyable sweetness. Dark and attractive with an effortless draw, this cigar produces a rich, semisweet smoke, leaving balanced impressions of wood and nuts. Big, delicious flavor.
